Kristen A. Gaetke is an attorney at the Bostic Law Group, P.A., where she has devoted her practice to wills and trusts, probate, and real estate transactions. Ms. Gaetke has helped guide clients through the estate planning process—preparing hundreds of wills and trusts for clients ranging from small to multi-million dollar estates.
Ms. Gaetke and Sharon Wieters head the real estate department at the firm, whose activities include guiding clients through residential and commercial real estate transactions, 1031 exchanges, coordinating with lenders and brokers, and reviewing and clearing title issues. Ms. Gaetke has also aided several nonprofit organizations, including arts and social welfare organizations as well as churches and their affiliated groups, through their federal exemption applications.
A native Charlestonian, Ms. Gaetke earned her B.A. in English at the College of Charleston (English, summa cum laude, 2006), and her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (cum laude, 2009). She is both a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and a licensed title insurance agent in the state of South Carolina. As a former dancer with the Robert Ivey Ballet, she had the privilege of performing in Charleston for ten years and in China during the summer of 2002. When not working, she enjoys trying out new recipes, taking care of her two dachshunds, and cheering the Clemson Tigers.
