Robert M. Hadden is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. Being licensed to practice in state and federal court in South Carolina and Tennessee, Mr. Hadden has tried numerous cases in both states. Mr. Hadden attended Wake Forest University, where he earned a B.A. in History, played on the Men's Tennis Team and made the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll. While at Mississippi College, where Mr. Hadden earned his J.D., he was a member of the Moot Court Board, the National Trial Team and the National Appellate Advocacy Team.
Mr. Hadden is a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyer's of America, and the South Carolina Trial Lawyer's Association. In addition to writing a column for the Charleston Trident Home Builder's Association, Mr. Hadden has spoken to several groups in the community on a variety of litigation issues.
Since entering private practice, Mr. Hadden has been an active in the community. Specifically, Mr. Hadden has served on the Board of Directors for Meals-on-Wheels and coached high school students in mock trial competitions
Prior to joining the Bostic Law Firm, Mr. Hadden worked for two large law firms where he primarily defended corporate clients. While Mr. Hadden still does some defense work, his primary focus is representing plaintiffs in litigation matters. Mr. Hadden litigates cases on personal injury/wrongful death/general tort and consumer claims, medical malpractice/nursing home negligence, construction/business/commercial litigation and claims against brokerage firms/brokers. On the defense side, Mr. Hadden regularly represents builders, homeowners' associations, churches and other businesses/individuals.
